Who Are We?

Hub’s Restaurants were founded and established by John Thanoukos in the Chicago area in 1976. Hub’s combines traditional Greek and American cuisine with sensible prices and friendly service.

Hub's has served countless satisfied customers in its decades of operation. Dine in and enjoy the Saturday Night Live Hub's memorabilia and TV in the large dining area, or call/fax in your order for fast carry out service. Our catering menu is also filled with hearty portions at reasonable prices. During warm weather months, enjoy the outdoor patio.

Through the years, Hub's has been visited by a host of national and local dignitaries, politicians, athletes, entertainers, journalists and food writers. Most of all, we thank our loyal guests for your support. We're glad "you like-a da juice!"

After swooning over this thick creamy cucumber sauce for years, I was shocked to learn it was made not with rich Greek sheep yogurt but sour cream-along with chopped cucumber, fresh garlic, vinegar, olive oil and lemon juice. Still, I love the way it acts as a cool, tangy foil to the rich, spicy slices of gyros. It's also great for dipping with fries and as an accompaniment to veggies and bread."
